The Count Down Begins...

Three more days until we travel to another country and change peoples' lives. Three more days until we travel to another country and change our lives. Only three more days. With each passing hour I swell with even more nervous energy, because I only know part of what we're getting in to. I remember last year, when I was this close to leaving for Cambodia, and I was so unsure of what was going to happen. I had fantasies and scenarios that I had planned out, thinking that the trip would be just as I expected it to be- but I was so wrong. That is the only thing I am 100% sure about for our experience on this trip- that it will be so much more than what we are perceiving it to be. Our donation bags are packed, and my personal bag will be soon as well. I can't wait to create bonds that only traveling to a developing country to serve others can create, and I can't wait to partake in yet another amazing adventure. Thank you for your support, and next time I write, it will be at the airport (rhyme not intended).
